Terms of service

Last updated 7 November 2026

1. Who we are

OmniCoreSMS is a bulk text messaging service for UK organisations. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean OmniCoreSMS, and “you” means the person or business holding the account.

By creating an account, completing your profile or sending a message, you agree to these terms. If you're agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you're allowed to do so.

2. The service

We give you a web console for buying message credits, storing contact numbers, sending bulk SMS, and reading and replying to the messages people send back.

Messages are delivered through UK mobile networks and a third-party SMS gateway. We supply the tools; you decide who you text and what you say.

3. Your account and profile

When you register you choose one of two account types.

A Regular account collects your name, business name, address, business email, business phone, website, logo and SMS display name. We use these to identify your business when networks or regulators ask who is messaging.

A High-risk account collects only an SMS display name plus a contact name and contact number that are visible to the workspace owner alone. We use that contact strictly to reach you about your account — never for marketing, and never shared with anyone else.

You must keep your login details secure and give us accurate information. You can change your profile at any time from the console.

4. Acceptable use and the law

You are the sender of every message you send, and you are responsible for it. You must comply with UK law, including the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

In particular you must:

  • Only text people who have given you valid consent, or where you have another lawful basis that clearly allows it.
  • Identify yourself in each message so recipients know who is texting them.
  • Honour opt-outs immediately, and never text someone again after they ask you to stop.
  • Keep records of how and when each person consented.

You must not use OmniCoreSMS to send spam, scams, or anything unlawful, misleading, harassing or discriminatory. We don't allow bulk messaging for adult content, gambling, unlicensed financial or crypto promotions, counterfeit goods, weapons, tobacco or vaping, prescription medicines, debt collection without proper authority, or any content aimed at children.

We may suspend or close an account, and refuse or cancel a send, if we believe these rules are being broken.

5. SMS display names

Your SMS display name is the name recipients see instead of a number. It can be up to 11 letters, numbers or spaces.

Some networks and countries restrict or replace display names with a number, and some display names are reserved or blocked for fraud reasons. We may refuse or change a display name that impersonates another organisation or breaks network rules.

6. Credits, prices and payment

Messages are paid for with credits bought in advance from the Billing page. Prices are shown in pounds and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.

Credits are deducted from your balance as messages are accepted for delivery. Your balance shown in the console is our own ledger and is the balance that counts — not any figure reported by a network or gateway.

Credits are a prepaid balance for use on the service. Except where the law requires otherwise, they are not refundable or exchangeable for cash. Credits don't expire while your account is open.

If a send fails before reaching the network, the credits for it are returned to your balance.

7. Delivery

We work hard to deliver every message, but delivery depends on mobile networks, handsets and the recipient's settings. We can't guarantee delivery or delivery times, and messages that fail on a network are not our responsibility.

Long messages may be split into several parts and may be charged as several credits.

8. Data protection

For the contact details and message content in your account, you are the data controller and we act as your processor. We hold that data to run the service, and we access it only where needed to operate, support or secure your account.

Replies are private to the member who received them by default. A member can give the workspace owner permission to read their replies from Settings, and can withdraw that permission at any time.

We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete it yourself at any time using the panic button (see below), or ask us to close your account.

9. The panic button, backups and restore codes

The panic button deletes every contact, contact list, sent message, reply and consent record on your account — or across the whole workspace if the owner uses it on a workspace-wide account.

It is immediate. Before deleting, we take a single snapshot and hold it on our servers for six hours. In that window you get a 16-digit restore code, which you must save — we store only a scrambled (hashed) version of it and cannot recover or reissue the code for you.

To restore, enter the code on the Restore page. Your data is put back and the backup is deleted straight away.

After six hours the backup is deleted from our servers permanently. The code stops working, nothing can be recovered by us, and no copy exists anywhere.

A snapshot is a bounded copy of your most recent records rather than an archive of everything ever stored, and restoring it does not restore credits, orders or billing history, which are never deleted by the panic button.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep the service available at all times, but we may need to take it offline for maintenance or because a supplier or network has an outage.

We may add, change or withdraw features. If a change significantly affects how you use the service, we'll give reasonable notice.

11. Suspension and closing your account

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if we're required to by law or a network, or if your account is being used fraudulently. We may also close accounts that have been inactive for a long period after giving you notice.

You can stop using the service at any time. Unused credits are handled as set out in section 6.

12. Our liability

We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss caused by messages you chose to send or by a network failing to deliver them.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

13. Support and complaints

Support is available from the Support page in your console, or on WhatsApp. We aim to reply within six hours during working hours.

If you're unhappy with the service, contact us first and we'll try to put it right.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the new version.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
